Radler Fest Tomorrow and Other Announcements

AND THE 2017 WINNERS ARE…COLLABORATING

Portland Craft Beer Festival

Beer lovers have spoken! The Portland Craft Beer Festival’s first place “Best in Show” for beer is Pono brewing’s “Kīkīao,” our South Pacific Farmhouse Ale with green tea and passionfruit and mango essence. We are honored to be chosen out of all the amazing brewers participating including such notables as Breakside and Gigantic. Equally exciting is a collaboration event we are doing with the first-place cider from the festival, Reverend Nat’s ¡Viva La Pineapple!, a cider with lots and lots of pineapples. Why not put a couple of winning beverages together? If we’ve enticed you, be at the Imperial Bottle Shop – Alberta, Wednesday, August 16 from 5 PM – 8 PM.

1st ANNUAL PORTLAND RADLER FEST IS ABOUT TO BREAK

Portland Radler Fest

At StormBreaker, that is. There will be over 20 breweries/cideries pouring ‘Radlers,’ which is a combination of beer and fruit soda. Pono Brewing’s Pineapple Express – delicious Kolsch style beer with malt from Germany and real pineapple – will be blended with a coconut calamansi soda. Yeah, that sounds about right for the scorching summer we’ve been having. The street will be tented for shade, and live music too!

Presale tickets are only $15, which includes festival mug and 8 tickets. $20 at the door. http://www.merctickets.com/events/45465550/1st-annual-portland-radler-festival.
